The Woodland Schools Foundation (WSF) is independent of the Woodland Joint Unified School District and its Board of Trustees. The Foundation enjoys a cooperative, supportive and respectful relationship with the District and Board since the common goal is to enhance and further the education of the students of the District.

The Woodland Schools Foundation is a member of the California Consortium of Educational Foundations (CCEF), which provides guidelines for effective operation and a network among Education Foundations.
